To whoever, whatever, is out there
in soul, imagination,
suspicion or deluded desire
who is benign and interested
whether or not responsible
we appreciate our riches
and the good things that happen.
The only way
to beat the consequences
of
streaks of evil
that ripple through
is to
recognise, respect
resist, reject
re-build
where they destroy
where we can.
